I went to the bar hoping for a decent drink, but it wasn’t great. My cocktail was mostly ice and had about no flavor, and the drinks overall tasted kind of off and weak. Service was slow too, so we were sitting around waiting longer than expected. I just don’t think it was worth the money

I went to McGrath’s Fish House thinking it would be an easy choice for dinner, but I kind of regretted it once we sat down and looked at the menu. The food itself was fine, nothing terrible, but it felt like the options were limited unless you were fully in the mood for the usual seafood dishes.

I kept wishing there were more sides or a few better non-fish choices, especially since not everyone at our table was excited about seafood. We all found something eventually, but it felt more like settling than actually picking what we wanted. Not a bad place, just probably not where I’d spend my money again with a group

Am I the only one who feels like the bathroom kind of sets the tone? It was a bit messy when I visited, which wasn’t great. The food was still okay, though, so it wasn’t a total letdown.

The servers seemed nice and all, but we kind of had to flag them down a few times when we needed stuff. It wasn’t a bad experience or anything, just felt like they weren’t totally keeping an eye on things

I asked about my allergy before ordering, and I got different answers from different staff members, which made me really uneasy. There wasn’t a clear allergen menu to check, and even the little details, like whether something was cooked separately or not, seemed uncertain. It felt like they were guessing, so I ended up leaving without eating. Disappointing.

I drove around for a while trying to find a spot, but nothing was opening up. The parking situation were just too frustrating, so I ended up leaving.

I came in with high hopes, mostly because the daily specials sounded like the main event. But the one I actually wanted had already disappeared way too early, like it vanished in the first act, and the backup option they offered didn’t really feel like a deal at all.
The slow service just added to the drama, so by the end I was more irritated than hungry. I’m not asking for anything fancy, but if you’re advertising daily specials, they should feel worth showing up for. I probably won’t make the effort to check them out again...

I’ve been here a few times now, and it’s been pretty much the same each visit. The food is fine, but nothing I’d go out of my way for. Compared to a couple of other spots I usually go to, this place feels a bit more average. Service can be decent one day and kind of slow or off the next, so it’s a little hit or miss.

The place just felt kind of dirty to me, haha. I didn’t really feel comfortable eating there, so I ended up not wanting to stay

I booked a table on McGrath's for Friday night and got the confirmation email, so I figured we were all set, haha.
When we got there, the host couldn’t find the reservation anywhere. I showed them the email, but we still ended up waiting almost 45 minutes. There wasn’t much of an apology either, just kind of a shrug.
The food might be totally fine, but the whole reservation system felt pointless. If the website doesn’t actually save the table, I’m not sure why it’s an option. I probably won’t use it again.

I went to McGrath’s Fish House for happy hour and left annoyed. It wasn’t even very busy. Still, the service was really slow. We had to ask twice just to get water.

The happy hour food came out kind of cold. The portions were smaller than I expected too. Drinks took forever. Maybe they were just having a bad day, but it felt like a waste of time and money. I wouldn’t go back for happy hour.
